On the Italian side of Mont Blanc, bodies of three mountaineers, missing more than two decades ago, are found, The Guardian reports with reference to the local police.

"The glacier is constantly shifting, so we can assume that they were killed in 1995," - said the police.

The remains were discovered and photographed by a French climber. It is reported that the bodies were tied with a rope.

A procedure is currently being carried out to extract the remains from the glacier, after which identification will begin.

In early August, it was reported that as a result of the hot weather in Europe, due to the melting of glaciers in the Alps, they often found the remains of long-lost people.
