RIA Novosti reports that the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia Vladimir Puchkov instructed to take measures in order to prevent new fires in Rostov-on-Don and the Rostov region.

At a meeting of the working group of the government commission for emergency situations, the minister said: "I will ask all federal structures to work out all the issues in the emergency zone in Rostov-on-Don. The whole grouping of forces works in a tense mode. It is impossible to admit new foci, including in other regions where hot weather has set ".

Puchkov also instructed to conduct explanatory work on the rules of fire safety.

He said: "Send supervisors to ensure compliance with fire safety measures".

Also, the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations introduced an emergency situation in the entire Rostov region.
