Head coach of the Ukrainian national team in the Davis Cup Andrei Medvedev announced the squad for the upcoming match against Israel in the playoffs of the First Euro-African Zone Group of the tournament, which will be held on September 15-17.

According to Medvedev, the strongest team will play against the Israelis: Alexander Dolgopolov, Sergei Stakhovsky, Ilya Marchenko and Denis Molchanov.

"Negotiations with the players have been held, today we have confirmation of participation in this crucial match for us from our leading tennis players Alexander Dolgopolov, Sergei Stakhovsky, Ilya Marchenko and Denis Molchanov. We go to Israel by the strongest team and we will fight for victory. Taking this opportunity, I want to invite our fans to the match, "- said Medvedev.

Recall that in April of this year, in the second round of the First Group of the Euro-African Zone, Ukrainians reserve team lost to Portugal, and then dropped to ten positions in the Davis Cup ranking.
