The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine established an interdepartmental working group on the legality of the construction of certain objects in Kiev, which cause public outcry. This Monday, August 14, the press service of the Ministry of Regional Development of Ukraine. In particular, the group will study the legality of the development of the territories of the former Sennoy market on the street. Bulvarno-Kudryavskaya, 15; Ul. Mikhail Boychuk, 20-22; Ul. Zhylyansky, 120-b and in Bykovnya forest. For each department that entered the group, in accordance with the powers and competences, tasks are fixed. Thus, the Kyiv City State Administration, the State Architectural and Construction Inspectorate and the State Geodetic Museum will prepare detailed information on each of the facilities, the chronology of the issue, the measures taken, and proposals for resolving conflicts within 10 days. The Ministry of Regional Development together with the Ministry of Justice will prepare mechanisms for the protection of public interests in the process of resonant construction projects, including through the court. In addition, the group should analyze the mechanisms fixed in the regulatory framework for limiting the number of storeys in historical cities. As reported, today in Darnytskyi district of Kiev, protesters against construction blocked traffic along the street, including for public transport.
