General Robert Lee during the Civil War fought on the side of the south, that is, supported the persistence of slavery in the United States.

Even last Friday, representatives of the ultra-right held a torchlight procession, at that time it did without accidents.

Yesterday, August 12, in Charlottesville declared a state of emergency, however, the ultra-right and representatives of the counter-meeting took to the streets.

The Air Force reports that as a result of clashes between two groups, one person was killed, another 36 were injured.

On the crowd of protesters drove a car. As a result, a 32-year-old woman was killed.

The car at a huge speed flew into the crowd, and then at high speed began to take back.

The state police have already detained the culprit of the accident, but the causes of the incident are not known yet.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, US authorities denounced Putin's visit to Abkhazia. The US government completely condemned the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the separatist Georgian region of Abkhazia, calling it unacceptable, which violates all the principles of the Geneva discussions on the Transcaucasus.
