In Russia, German policemen were detained

As it became known to the Focus, the Minister of the Interior of Lower Saxony Boris Pistorius appealed to police officers with an urgent recommendation to refrain from private trips to Russia. The minister's anxiety is not unfounded: during the cruise on the Baltic Sea, three policemen on leave, despite a valid Russian visa, were detained after they left on shore in St. Petersburg.

"The Russian border guards, who are directly subordinate to the FSB, brought the German police officers to the interrogation room where they were asked questions related to their professional activities and official information," the author of the publication. German policemen were under intense pressure due to potential espionage activities.

As it was possible to find out the edition in circles close to the Berlin law enforcement bodies, this case is not the only one. Representatives of the land police leadership even offered their employees not to indicate their place of work when processing documents for entry into the Russian Federation. "However, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Germany such an idea considered inappropriate if the police keep silent about their true place of life and deception will be revealed, the more he will face charges of espionage", - the Focus to a senior law enforcement official in Germany.
