One of the oil wells burns in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District. As a result of the incident, eight people were injured. All of them with burns were hospitalized in the city hospital Raduzhny.

According to Russian media, referring to the information of the local prosecutor's office, there was a fire at the site No. 50 located on the territory of the Van Egansk oil and gas condensate field, JSC Nizhnevartovsk oil and gas producing enterprise. In connection with the incident, the district prosecutor Evgeny Botvinkin instructed the prosecutor of the Nizhnevartovsk region to go to the scene and organize an audit of this fact.
