The Assembly accepts Nicholas Maduro "as the constitutional president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, head of state and government, as well as Commander-in-Chief of the National Bolivarian Armed Forces," the special document. The document was adopted at a special meeting of the Constitutional Assembly.
The Constitutional Assembly has full power in the country since the end of last week.
Recall, as reported URA-Inform, the Constitutional Assembly declared itself the main authority of Venezuela. The National Constituent Assembly issued a decree stating that now the meeting is a higher body to other institutions of Venezuelan authorities.
