Stoke City extended the contract with its winger Ramadan Sobhi until 2022, the official website of the "potters".
The 20-year-old Egyptian joined the Stoke from Al Ahly only last summer, but the management of the English club decided to reward the player with a new long-term contract for an impressive debut season.
"There is no doubt that Ramadan is a very talented young player," said Stock Executive Tony Scholes.
"It's fair to say that the first year in the new league and in the new culture will always be a challenge for the player. However, Ramadan very quickly adapted to this league and this country, and showed that it has a huge potential ".
Last season, Sobhi spent 19 matches for Stoke City in all tournaments, which marked one productive transfer.
