Bortwick-Jackson underwent a physical examination and became the 10th Leeds newcomer this summer.

"Leeds United announces the signing of Cameron Bortwick-Jackson of Manchester United," reads the club's statement.

"The talented lefthanded defender joined us on a one-year lease".

In Leeds Bortwick-Jackson should be a substitute for Charlie Taylor, who in July moved to Burnley.

Cameron - a pupil of Manchester United, for which he played 14 games since the debut in November 2015 with Louis van Gaal. The defender was not included in the plans of the new coach of the "red devils" Jose Mourinho, so last season spent in rent in Wolverhampton, where he played only 7 fights.
