The Chinese billionaire, whose name is not disclosed, is negotiating with shareholders of Manchester United about selling partial rights to the club. Now about 80% of the shares of the "red devils" belong to the family of Glazers, while the other part is controlled by various investment funds.

As reported by The Times, the Chinese investor has already held the first round of negotiations regarding the possible sale of part of the club. It is known that last week an unknown American broker put up for sale 8% of the shares of "Manchester United".

Recall that the American real estate tycoon Malcolm Glaser acquired Manchester United in 2005 for 790 million pounds.

It is worth noting that in the 2015-16 season Manchester United became the richest club in the world.
