In turn, this is the exclusive prerogative of the national legislation of the state of the relevant citizenship.

Let us note that the only document certifying the fact of termination of Ukrainian citizenship both by way out of it and its loss is the corresponding decree of the President of Ukraine.

In this regard, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry regards this step of Russia as a continuation of legal discrimination and infringement of the rights of Ukrainian citizens.

On this occasion, the Ukrainian leadership calls on the Muscovites not to succumb to provocations and to refrain from traveling to Russia.

Recall, as previously reported, "URA-Inform," Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law project that simplifies the procedure for granting Ukrainians citizenship of this country.
