According to the department of cyberpolicy, the criminal group consisted of two people - residents of Kiev and Dnieper. Since December 2016, they registered 23 Internet resources, which posted ads on the sale of computer equipment and phones. At the same time, an obligatory condition of the contract of purchase and sale was 100% payment for the card accounts prepared in advance by the attackers.

Each of the online stores worked no more than seven days. At the same time, the professional design of sites with full technical characteristics of the goods, as well as counterfeit positive customer feedback, provoked confidence among customers.

At the place of residence of the perpetrators, the police conducted authorized searches, during which computer equipment, hard disks, money, as well as rough records. In addition, payment cards and mobile phones that were used by criminals in a criminal scheme.
