Meeting of representatives of cities of Donetsk region and UNDP was held in Druzhkovka on July 26. The agreement on cooperation will become a new benchmark in the effective use of energy resources.

The draft computer program presented at the meeting, allowing to monitor the consumption of heat, water, light and gas, will greatly simplify the interaction of city officials and budget organizations. Now, the person responsible for providing metrics for the counters will not need to report in the telephone mode figures to the Energy Management Department. It will be enough to "drive" your indicators into the database of the program.

For today in the test mode consumer indications of the cities-signatories of Druzhkovka, Selidovo, Dobropillya and Slavyansk have already been made, notes Business Slaviansk.

UNDP representatives note that openness in the use of energy resources will not only save the city's budget resources, but will also attract foreign investors to "the weakest places". So, for example, large heat losses will indicate that it is in this facility that it is necessary to invest funds for thermosanation.

The curator of the UNDP project "Energy Efficiency in Public Buildings" Sergey Varga promised to contribute to the further development of energy efficiency in the cities of Donbass, especially those who are interested in this.
