US President Donald Trump intends to sign a bill approved by the House of Representatives and the Senate of the US Congress on tightening sanctions against Russia, Iran and North Korea. This was stated by White House press secretary Sarah Hakabi Sanders, reports the Main with reference to DW.

"President Trump studied the original versions of the draft law and negotiated amendments. Now he reviewed the final version for making changes to it, approved it and plans to sign the law, "she said..

Recall that the upper house of the US Congress on Thursday, July 27, overwhelmingly voted for an updated package of restrictive penal measures in relation to Russia, Iran and North Korea. For the introduction of new sanctions 98 out of 100 senators voted. Earlier, on July 25, the draft law on sanctions approved an absolute majority in the House of Representatives. The reason for the adoption of sanctions against Moscow is the annexation of the Crimea, as well as hacker attacks in order to influence the presidential elections.
