In Nizhny Tagil, two local residents were found guilty of two articles at once: "Fraud" and "Theft". Ivan Kozban and Roman Parshuk entered the apartments of elderly people and stole from them things. For this, by a court decision, they will spend 4 years in a colony.

As reported in the prosecutor's office of the Sverdlovsk region, between September 2013 and October 2016, the defendants, being employees of an organization specializing in the sale of medical devices, penetrated into apartments where elderly people lived under various pretexts. Then, distracting the owners, they abducted money from the apartment.

In the above way, the defendants managed to steal from 8 pensioners more than 555 thousand rubles.

For the commission of the above-mentioned crimes, the court sentenced Ivan Kozban to a four-year prison sentence with serving a general regime colony, Roman Parshuk - to imprisonment for 3 years and 8 months in a general-purpose colony.

The claims of the victims for recovery from the defendants of the amount of damage were fully satisfied by the court.
