Many large companies have been working for more than a year to create flexible devices. Last year, Lenovo showed prototypes of bent smartphone and tablet. During the year, the engineers of the Chinese corporation worked to present this year's Tech World 2017 presentation with a working sample of a tablet computer bent in half. It runs on Android and is now able to switch between different modes depending on the state.

The device is code-named Folio. In the unfolded state this is a 7.8-inch tablet with a display resolution of 1920x1440 pixels. But if you fold it in half, then you get a 5.5-inch smartphone. With this special mechanism allows you to bend the two halves at any angle.

Already, the foldable tablet offers several interesting features. For example, on each half of the screen can be run a separate application. Alternatively, you can start the camera application and see yourself on the display, even when you shoot on the main module.

Note that Microsoft is also working on a bend in half the tablet. It is possible that in the future it will be a new class of devices. Moreover, recently Lenovo showed the concept of a bendable laptop.
