The Ukrainian Premier League, having interviewed experts of the expert council, determined the best football player from those who participated in the games of the first round of the championship of Ukraine.

According to the voting results, Shakhtar's midfielder Marlos scored the victory, who scored a goal in the gates of Vorskla (3: 0). At one point the Brazilian beat his team-mate Facundo Ferreira, another two points behind Vladimir Shepelev from Dynamo.

The Expert Council includes Oleg Venglinskiy Sergei Nagornyak Alexander Sopko, Victor Grachev, Yozhef Sabo, Igor Tsyganik Dmitry Povoroznyuk, Gennadiy Orbu, Alexander Denisov and Stepan Yurchishin.
