For January-May the salary grew by 37% and reached UAH 6,494. However, taking into account June and July, the average salary already exceeded seven thousand.

This was on Wednesday, July 19, at a government meeting, Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman.

Recall that the average salary in Ukraine in May increased by 181 hryvnia and amounted to 6 840 hryvnia. This is 2.7% more than in April.

As reported URA-Inform, according to Gosstat, the highest average wage has traditionally been recorded in the aviation industry - an average of 29 428 hryvnia per employee.

In second place are financiers and insurance agents - UAH 12,528. Employees of the information and telecommunications industries received on average 1,440 UAH.
