Earlier this month, Microsoft announced the complete redesign of Skype. In the popular messaging service, functions were added from other instant messengers, such as Snapchat and Messenger. Developers have added integration with popular services like YouTube, Giphy and Weather, analog stories from Snapchat, photo editor and more. Many users have met such drastic changes are not entirely joyful. Some switched to other services, while others demanded to return everything back. Microsoft still made concessions and decided to return some of the old features.

With the latest update, Skype returned the status icon. It allows other users to see your status from the contact list. Also, Microsoft returned to the client on Android and iOS the function of sharing content with other services and mobile applications.

Not without new features. Microsoft has expanded the ability to customize the appearance of the application with new themes and colors. There were also some corrections related to the possibility of deleting contacts and correspondence, with notifications and multitasking problems.

Also, Microsoft released an update for Windows 10. Skype has reworked the user interface. Access to the profile, new conversations, dial pad and more has now become much easier and faster.

In the Share menu, you can share videos, photos and other files. Also, to each post in the correspondence you can add emotion, showing the interlocutor how you feel about what was said.

All changes are already available in new versions of Skype.
