Rossiyskaya Gazeta writes that Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Moscow was ready to reduce the number of employees of the US Embassy in Russia if the issue with the selected Russian diplomatic capacity did not move.

Zakharova noted that building further interaction will be difficult if not to stop such practices. She stressed: "This concerns the situation with the expulsion of the US half a year ago by 35 Russian diplomats and the illegal seizure of Russian property that enjoys diplomatic immunity". The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry added that "the selected objects have not been returned".

The diplomat continued: "Washington not only has not canceled the decision to expel our employees, but also refuses to issue visas to those who must go on a replacement. Attempts are being made to make completely unacceptable links, there is a frank ".

The official concluded: "If things do not move, Moscow will have to take retaliatory measures. How to answer is - the numerical strength of the US Embassy in Moscow is much higher than the number of our embassy workers in Washington ".
