The program is designed until 2019. The Lviv regional state administration reports that the main tasks and measures for the implementation of this program are collection and weighing of solid household waste.

It also says that the tasks of the local authorities are the removal from the territory of the city of Lviv of solid domestic waste, the storage and disposal of solid domestic waste and the provision of financial assistance to the territories that will take garbage.

It is assumed that the implementation of the program will improve the quality of provision of services in the housing and communal services sector, ensure the arrangement of garbage disposal facilities, reduce their negative impact on the environment, and reduce the level of sanitary and epidemiological danger.

The program was allocated 600 million hryvnia, - assured the OGA.
