Sea Breeze in Odessa: divers of four countries searched for mines in the sea

Servicemen of the Navy of the participating countries of the multinational exercises "Sea Breeze-2017" worked in Odessa practical diving and fighting for the survivability of the ship. This was reported in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The international group of divers, which included servicemen of the rescue unit of the Ukrainian Navy, representatives of the US, British and Romanian naval forces worked together, and also improved their skills in working with NATO standards.

According to the head of the search and rescue service of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Captain of the second rank Alexey Nesterov, for diving training in the water area of ??the Odessa Commercial Sea Port, a special diving range. At the same time, the participants of the diving component used the newest underwater equipment for the detection and identification of explosive objects - controlled underwater robots, antimagnetic divers, a side-scan locator, a mobile altitude chamber and so on.
