Cassation complaint striker Real Madrid Karim Benzema, accused of blackmail with piquant photos and videos of his former teammate of France Mathieu Valbuena, is only partially satisfied, but the case in court will still be reviewed.

Benzema and his lawyer Patrice Spinozi were able to prove that the evidence against the football player and his friend Karim Zenati was collected illegally. The judge agreed that the police officer acting under cover was given the main evidence of the charge - an audio record with a confession, by provoking Benzema and Zenati.

Thus, the Court of Cassation of France quashed the decision of the Court of Appeal of Versailles to reject the appeal of Benzema about his conviction of blackmail. And since the main evidence found illegally obtained during the review of the case can not be considered, the lawyer is sure that Benzema will be able to obtain an acquittal.
