On July 11, in the framework of the online platform "Socially Active Citizen", Odessa citizens presented a project that presupposes the installation of underground garbage containers in the city.

According to the author of the idea, "smart" trash can not only improve the appearance of the city, but also relieve citizens of unpleasant odors on the street.

Containers will be made of stainless steel, and inside are sheathed with special rubber. This will make them wear-resistant, and due to the vacuum is also fire-resistant.

The capacity of one underground container is equal to the volume of three or even five standard garbage cans, which are now used in Odessa.

Place them in the parks and near the museums. The project budget is 4 million 700 thousand hryvnia.
