Portal runews24. Ru informs that the Russian Ministry of Labor wants to increase by 4 times the quota for attracting foreign labor for preparing the facilities of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

From the explanatory note to the draft government decree it follows that for the current year it is proposed to increase the need for foreign workers to 216,181 people.

The agency stressed: "Including a reserve requirement of 30% of the needs of the subjects of the Russian Federation, the total number of foreign labor force will be 49 888 people".

It is noted that the need of Russian enterprises for foreign workers, including from Turkey, is several times higher than the quota in connection with the use of foreign-made equipment that needs installation, adjustment and maintenance. It is explained at the same time that in Russia there are no staff of necessary qualifications.
