The Government of the Sverlov region in 2017 will send 45 million rubles to support 75 doctors who work in the rural areas of the region. This was during the Cabinet meeting the Minister of Health of the region Igor Trofimov.

According to the official, a one-time payment is available to medical workers under 50 with higher education who are registered for work in rural health facilities in 2016-2017.

"We face the task of eliminating the shortage of cadres in the countryside and providing citizens with qualified medical assistance," added the governor-general Yevgeny Kuyvashev.
