Laughter can help increase the chances of success in in vitro fertilization (IVF). The study showed that only 15 minutes of fun almost double the likelihood of a successful pregnancy. This conclusion was drawn on the basis of research by Professor Shevach Fridler.

The Daily Mail describes this survey conducted in an Israeli clinic. The stated study involved more than 200 women undergoing infertility treatment.

At first everything went as usual, but at the end of the course of treatment, when the embryos were already implanted, half of the patients were sent to a 15-minute clown presentation, during which the clown told the prepared jokes and showed tricks. As a result, among these patients, the percentage of pregnant women was 36.4%, while women who did not attend the presentation became pregnant with only 20.2%.

As Shevach Fridler states, the secret lies in relaxation and stress reduction. Meanwhile, the representative of the British Fertility Association does not trust the conducted research, arguing that there is no clear connection between the relaxation and the success of IVF.
