This was reported to the press service of the Krivoy Rog Police Department.

Representatives of the military unit applied to the police with a written statement and reported the theft of 8 batteries. Law enforcers found that on the night of 2 to 3 July the thief damaged the fence and got to the territory of the part where he stole the batteries.

While conducting operational activities, the police received information about a person who sells batteries at a cheap price. He was previously convicted for robbery, a 33-year-old local resident. In conversation with the police, the suspect confessed to what he had done, justifying his actions with lack of money and lack of work.

On this fact, the Krivoy Rog police department opened criminal proceedings on part 3 of Article 185 (theft) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to five years. Now the police are checking the person involved in similar crimes, and the issue of choosing an interceptor.
