During the meeting, the Italian Foreign Minister assured that during the country's chairmanship of the OSCE the Ukrainian issue will remain a priority. As the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry informs, the meeting of the heads of foreign affairs agencies of Ukraine and Italy took place within the framework of Klimkin's visit to Italy.

The ministers discussed cooperation in the political, economic, energy, cultural and humanitarian spheres and agreed on an intensification of the dialogue between Ukraine and Italy. In addition, the ministers agreed on positions on a number of international issues.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, Klimkin said that Ukraine has now begun preparing a telephone conference of the countries participating in the "Norman format" to resolve the situation in the Donbass.
