A few words about the reaction to the "Guzhvageit". I was always besieged with questions asked about how a journalist feels in politics. And as a doctor? How's the milkmaid? Economist?.

Politics is a separate profession. With its own laws, goals and motivation. Separate. A politician is ideally the same professional in politics, like a journalist in journalism. Only with a different measure of responsibility.

In journalism, you can defend the right to corporate interest, brave ultra-liberalism, much to say that freedom of speech, even paid by Russia, is above all. The responsibility of a journalist is the question of his self-perception. And often the demand of the public.

Before a politician (for the term of his political life, whatever he was) there are tasks of a different kind. Much more practical and much more complicated (believe me, how a person who has something to compare with is more difficult than anything). Preservation of the state, strengthening its institutions. The politician is ideally an architect of the state. His protector and creator. Ideally. And the measure of responsibility is different for him. Another weight of words and actions.

Therefore, all politicians who defend a comrade who has invested his dearly paid soul in the cause of the destruction of Ukraine, it is just worth saying that they are not politicians. That they do not think of themselves as a state, and they do not associate themselves with it. The state instinct - it is either there or not.

In a war, in a situation when your country is attacked, there is no neutrality. Or we, or they. Or for us, or for the enemies. And no universal values ??and worship them of this truth will not change.
