The video service team YouTube introduced a new video format called VR180. It is designed to make content creation for virtual reality easier. The format is developed in cooperation with another division of Google - the team of the virtual platform Daydream.

According to the developers, the VR180 video has a high resolution and is suitable for both desktops and mobile devices. To immerse yourself in video format VR180, you can use Cardboard, Daydream and PSVR. They allow you to view images in three-dimensional format. The picture is voluminous: the objects in the foreground seem closer, and on the back - more. VR180 also supports online broadcasts, as a result, the creator of the video and viewers will be able to communicate in real time.

The developers also promise that the shooting of such videos is no different from creating a video using a conventional camera. In addition, soon the authors will be able to edit the video using familiar tools, such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
