"For us with you and" fuck "with them!" A popular toast from late-Soviet folklore proved useful in the years of Putin's stagnation. A simple formula is a kind of motto of the current Kremlin long-liver. "We are with you" in Putin's interpretation - he himself, with all the other rottenbergs, sechin, komizovymi, shoigu, bortnikovymi, gold, Vaino, kirienkami and farther from the body of the leader hangers-on, writes Galina Sidorova for Radio Liberty.
"They" (those with "horseradish") - a more complex design. Here and the "damned amerikosy," and "Englishwomen with macrones". And "the shelter with powder". And the local "inoagents" with the bulk - although the name does not turn the president's language, is too impudent, young and full of energy against the backdrop of a well-dressed, fairly battered grandfather. And even quite loyal Russians among 80 percent for him, too, "they" - constantly asking for something.
Although, as Putin remarked in an interview with NTV immediately after the "straight line" - either in disbelief, or just wailing from nightmares, against which most of the petitioners spoke, "and yet a huge number of people still live, and they have that Soon after the March young protests from the presidential administration leaked: it's time to change the agenda - to shift in the federal "box" the emphasis from foreign policy on internal problems closer to both hearts and bodies of Russians about which the TV, in the words of the source of the leak , "He can not Interesting to steal ". And maybe the main propagandists sent to rest - fed up.
But interesting, as it turned out, an interesting dissension. The Moscow mayor came in time with the "renovation". And then, like a classic, the apartment issue "spoiled the Muscovites": they took to the streets against the demolition program of five-story buildings, which many considered robbery, which deprives them of the right of ownership - not to show, in fact, on TV such "interesting". That something went wrong with the "new agenda", it became clear already from the comments of Soloviev-Kiselyov. The first took up the protesting youth, calling it "two percent of shit". The second, like a worn out record, was crucified about "Maidanutyh", clumsy mixing footage from Tver-2017 and Kiev Maydan-2013.
And now the chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin, the ardent fan of updates, drags out the old song "about them", "at the genetic level" of non-loving Slavs (apparently, according to his logic, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia and now Montenegro have lost "Slavic", joining NATO or the European Union). And the Federation Council creates a Commission for the Protection of Russian Sovereignty and Combating Foreign Intervention to "analyze the activities" of foreign states in Russia and propose new laws aimed at combating their "hostile activities" and "forging out protest moods with the help of the media and NGOs".
In the meantime, it seems that the Russian Defense Ministry leadership that has disappeared from the reels demonstrates that it loves "hot", persistently provoking a real clash with the Americans in Syria, and in Europe on the border with NATO countries.
The crookedness of the experiment with the change of the agenda was also revealed during the "straight line" with the president - it was worthwhile to look at Putin's face at the moments of inclusions from the places in the style of "the horrors of our town". In this regard, I recall the conversation between two young guys, in the kind of students with whom we stood side by side on Tverskaya Street on June 12:.
"How many years can you sit there!".
- Well, if you change them every five or six, you would not have changed anything: just start - the new ones will come ... - And what, has he changed a lot in 17 years? - it seemed that there was enough time ... It is not surprising that it is easier for Putin to answer questions of an American director in a crouch before the "great dictator" than to communicate with his compatriots - even with those who also look, as they say, in his mouth. It is not by chance that the only question that invariably remains unanswered is its own agenda, participation in the 2018 elections. And let for all the numerous experts here everything is clear - intrigue, they say, political technologists. I do not think that it is clear for Putin himself, who was stuck between the need to stay on the post (he has nowhere to go somewhere else) and the desire to go somewhere else - to raise the above-mentioned toast, but exclusively for himself, the beloved.
In my opinion, in the autumn the agenda can suddenly be updated. Suffice it to combine two circumstances: Putin's desire to finally relax, and at the same time nicely "ride" the idol of youth "upstart Navalny," to which he feels a special dislike; And the aspirations of a part of his future-oriented environment at any cost and for a long time to remain in business.
As a result: the option of nominating a loyal successor. And for Putin himself (an amateur, as he put it, of straight lines), the advantages of such planning along a straight curve into the life of a well-to-do grandfather are obvious: a wave of street protests threatens to overwhelm his next presidency, before it begins. And some particularly impressionable Western colleagues may even re-love "Vladimir's friend", seeing in his voluntary withdrawal "signs of a return to democracy".
Will this be a salvation for the country or will it throw it back? Rather, the second. For such a scenario without the restoration of democratic institutions, just like Putin 4. 0, runs the risk of turning into a repetition of the millennium passed on with the endless reproduction of the new Putin. Live and with this you can. But, paraphrasing Putin's "surprised" saying, it's unlikely that something will turn out.
