In eastern Poland, during the archaeological excavations, a mass burial of "screaming" skeletons was found. Scientists suggest that skeletons belong to Russian soldiers who were killed in 1863 during the Polish Uprising.

This is reported by the Daily Mail.

The photographs show the wide open jaws of the dead lying next to each other.

According to scientists, the remains belong to 80 soldiers who were killed during the battle of Gizhin in 1863. Then about 200 soldiers of the tsarist army were killed, 282 taken prisoner. A few dozen escaped, but were soon overtaken by Polish rebels.

As Ridus writes, in this area there were legends about Russian soldiers. They were passed on from generation to generation. Residents said that soldiers were buried alive in punishment. After this, mystical things began to happen in the nearest settlements: local people saw dark figures, heard weeping and groans.

As reported by the "Observer", earlier in Mexico was discovered a secret burial with more than 250 human skulls.
