8% of Ukrainians give Ukraine's accession to the Eurasian Economic Union.

This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the Ilk Kucheriv Foundation for Democratic Initiatives and the Razumkov Center.

It is noted that the support for the Eurasian Union (as well as other options for an alliance with Russia) fell sharply after 2013 - from 30% to 8%, and support for accession to the EU rose from 42% to 57%. However, at the same time, the percentage of those who believe that Ukraine should not join the alliance with either Europe or Russia has grown from 13% to 25%.

At the same time, support for accession to the European Union is the highest in the Western region (79%) and Central, much less - in the Southern (32%) and Eastern (41%), where a large part of the population prefers non-alignment (43% in the South and 32% in the East).

Young people under the age of 30 (69%) and the age group of 30-39 (64%) support the integration with the EU more than the age of 65, the least - people over 60 (41%), among whom there is considerable support for non-alignment to either of the two Unions (35%).

As reported by the "Observer", it became known earlier who is most trusted by Ukrainians.
