As a result, the pumping station is de-energized and more than 380 thousand residents of five districts of the region were left without water supply. As reported on Thursday, June 22, the press service of the State Emergency Service, this morning, as a result of military operations in the Yasinovatsky district near the village of Vasilievka, in a territory beyond Ukraine's control, a high-voltage power line was damaged.
This led to the cessation of power supply to the pumping station of the first ascent of the South Donbass water pipeline. Without centralized water supply, there were 72 settlements in Pokrovsky, Selidovo, Volnovakh, Dobropolsky and Maryinsky districts, as well as in the settlement of Alexandrovka.
As of today, the water supply of the population is carried out from reserve reservoirs.
Recall, as reported URA-Inform, the South Donbass water pipeline was stopped June 11. This was due to the de-energization of the pumping station of the first rise as a result of military operations.
Hundreds of thousands of people remained without centralized water supply for several days. South Donbass water pipeline was launched on June 15.
