Weather forecasters warn of heavy precipitation. In this connection, a hydrometeorological storm warning was announced in the region.

According to the press service of the State Emergency Service, with reference to the data of the Transcarpathian Center for Hydrometeorology, in the nearest hour and throughout the day in the Transcarpathian region, thunderstorms are expected, in some places heavy rains, hail. During a thunderstorm, the squall wind amplification can reach 15-20 meters per second.

In places where strong showers pass, local run-off on small streams will result in a temporary increase in water levels by 0.2 to 0.7 meters.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, on Wednesday, June 21, weather forecasters promise a hot weather with rain. At night in the western and northern regions, during the day across Ukraine, except for the northern part, short rain, thunderstorm, in some places squalls of 15-20 meters per second. The air temperature will rise to 22-27 degrees in the daytime.
