Department of Consular Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine warns compatriots about mandatory registration of foreigners in Russia.

As reported in the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, citizens of Ukraine who plan to travel to the Russian Federation during the Football Confederations Cup (until July 12, 2017) must register within one day at the place of arrival at the relevant territorial offices of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

These norms apply to those arriving in the following Russian cities: Kazan, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi.

It is expected that at the World Cup in Russia (May 25 - July 25, 2018) will also be compulsory registration of arriving at the Interior Ministry.

Recall traditionally a year before the World Cup, the host country (in this case, the Russian Federation) hosts the Confederations Cup with the participation of the strongest teams of Europe, South America, North and Central America, Africa, Asia and the countries of Oceania.
