The absolute majority of the votes received by the new party of French President Emmanuel Macron at the elections to the National Assembly of the country are called observers "expected". They are cunning. A few weeks ago, no one expected anything like this. Even when the victory of Macron in the French presidential election seemed predetermined, we indicated as the main risks the absence of a majority in the parliament of the new head of state, recalled the periods of "co-existence" of the president, who represented one party and parliament, dominated by his opponents. I say "we" - because I myself considered the absence of a majority in the parliament the main problem of Makron. I did not even talk about the programmed defeat at the parliamentary elections, but about the impossibility for the newly created political party to win. That Macron will inevitably have to negotiate with the French right-wing Republicans, who seemed to be the country's leading political force after the Socialists fiasco. Nothing has happened. "Macronists" won with an impressive margin from all competitors. The Republicans, who several months ago counted on winning the presidential election and control over the parliament, will continue to be the largest opposition party without the ability to influence what is happening in the National Assembly. The Socialists almost disappeared - in comparison with the complete control over the current parliament. Marin Le Pen will have a deputy mandate, and her party has only a few seats in parliament. This is not what Putin's friend wanted, not what the Kremlin hoped for. This is the Macron Parliament. But, strangely enough, in France, many do not express special enthusiasm for such a deafening victory. Practical absence of opposition to the new president of the country causes a justified alarm. Will Macron be an effective president if no one argues with him? Is it possible to call such a power a real democracy? And most importantly - how unified in their actions will be the new deputies, who have united literally in a few months? What unites them? Common views or success of the young president? It is only Emmanuel Macron himself who can dispel these fears. He is determined to carry out reforms in France and the European Union. But for reforms in the country, serious public support is needed - not only in the parliament, but also on the street. Both the extreme left and the far right will now try to take revenge on the street, Le Pen talks about this, and her double in the left camp, no less odious admirer of Putin Melanchone. The Macro will now need to win not only the presidential palace, not only the parliament, but also the street. And for reforms in the European Union, Germany's support is needed. Chancellor Angela Merkel is supportive of the new French president. But after the parliamentary elections in Germany Macro will need to win more and the favor of the German Minister of Finance. All these tasks can not be called simple. But Makron has already shown that he can surprise. And he knows how not to sag - neither to Trump, nor to Putin. His luck will be France's luck. His luck is the luck of a strong Europe. And his success will be our common good - because a strong and not going to cringe before the Kremlin Europe is a guarantee of the future of Ukraine. So let Macron surprise us further. Original.
