"Preparations for a new heating season have begun in the region. To conduct it most effectively, to avoid breakdowns and accidents, it is necessary to take a set of measures to pay off debts to suppliers of fuel and energy resources, "stressed the head of the region.

To settle the situation with debts and ensure the timely start of the heating season, Kuyvashev noted, the territories receive support each year from the regional budget.

In 2016, 820 million rubles were spent on these purposes. Due to them, 160 km of dilapidated thermal and almost 172 km of dilapidated water networks were replaced, boiler houses were built in Pervouralsk, Kamyshlovsky and Slobodo-Turinsky municipal districts, 7 km of heating networks were overhauled and 4 km of water supply and wastewater networks were repaired.

A similar amount of work is to be done in the current year. For this, the regional budget provides 940 million rubles. As part of the financing, it is planned to build a new boiler house in Ivdel, upgrade the trunk and intra-quarter heat networks in Nizhni Sergi, build an external low-pressure gas pipeline in Nizhnyaya Salda, and upgrade external water supply networks in Degtyarsk.

150 million rubles will be directed to ensure measures for the partial release of residents of the region from payment for utilities. More than half of this money - 99 million - has already been transferred to municipalities.

The greatest increase in debt was recorded in Aichi, Berezovsky urban district, Sysert (which is traditionally called "Ural Rublevka"), Shalinsky, Severouralsk urban districts and Lower Salda.
