Almost 13 thousand Ukrainians without visas crossed the border with the EU countries

This was reported by the press center of the State Border Service. As noted, 13 thousand of them for travel used a biometric passport.

According to the information of the border guards, 3,750 citizens, 29% of them, used air transport. In turn, others followed the railroad or crossed the border at car checkpoints on the border with the EU.

It should be noted that the majority of Ukrainian citizens are on the border with Poland (5210 citizens of Ukraine) and Hungary (1805 citizens of Ukraine).

"Since the introduction of visa-free travel, 17 citizens of Ukraine have been denied access to the border,".

Recall, as previously reported, "URA-Inform, Ukraine launches a process to grant Ukrainians the right to visa-free trips to Japan. So, a diplomatic trip of the delegation of the Ukraine-Japan interparliamentary group is planned just on the day when the visa will be launched.
