On the occasion of the conquest of the Stanley Cup in the season of 2016 by the club "Pittsburgh Penguins" thousands of fans became spectators of the championship team parade city.

According to CBS Pittsburgh, 650,000 Penguin fans went on street celebrations. This is significantly more than last year, when the parade was attended by 400 thousand fans.

According to the publication, the number of spectators of the parade became a record for the American city, whose population is 305 thousand people.

Note that the "Pittsburgh" repeated the achievement of "Detroit" in the late 90's, winning two Stanley Cups in a row.
