The White House denied information that US President Donald Trump was going to postpone an official visit to Britain because of fears of potential protests.

This is reported by CNN.

It is noted that a high-ranking source in the Trump administration excluded that this issue was raised during a telephone conversation between the US head and British Prime Minister Theresa May.

"The President has great respect for Prime Minister May. This topic has never been raised during the conversation, "he said..

This was confirmed by another high-ranking source, adding that Trump does not care that he can never be popular in London.

As reported by the "Observer", previously The Guardian, referring to the source who was present at the conversation, said that Trump told British Prime Minister Teresa May on the phone about the intention to postpone the visit to Britain.

Later, May denied media reports and confirmed that Trump's visit will take place, as planned.
