In the result of the accident 11 people died. As reported by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Trans-Baikal Territory, the incident occurred about midnight in the Petrovsk-Zabaikalsky district of the Trans-Baikal Territory at 702 km of the Irkutsk-Chita route.
