After the final match of the World Cup U-20, which was held in South Korea, the best players of the tournament were identified.

Recall that the victory was won by the England team and it was their representative who received the golden ball of the U-20 World Cup. The owner of the trophy was the newly-made striker Liverpool Dominic Solanka, who already during the World Cup moved to the camp of the Reds from Chelsea.

The second place was taken by the representative of Uruguay Federico Valverde from Madrid Real, who together with his team reached the semi-finals, but lost on penalties and in 1/2 and in the match for third place.

The third was the player of the Venezuelan national team Yangel Herrera, at the club level represents New York City.
