Chester defender Sam Hughes will continue his career in Leicester.
Several Premier League and Champion Clubs, including Swansea, Crystal Palace, Sheffield Wednesday, Wolverhampton and Barnsley, were interested in Hughes. According to ESPN, Lester managed to win the fight for the player.
The Foxs offered a three-year contract to Hughes, who will initially play for the club's second team.
Sam is considered one of the most talented young players from the lower divisions of the championship of England. Hughes' contract with Chester expires at the end of the season, but the Fox will still have to pay compensation, since he has not reached the 24th anniversary - now Hughes is only 20. It is assumed that Lester will not object, since he does not want to bring the matter to court.
