Coordinator of the "Information Resistance" group, People's Deputy Dmitry Tymchuk stated that Ukraine can not by military means defeat Russia.

He said this in an interview with "Apostrophe".

"If we compare both the number and technical equipment of the Russian and Ukrainian armies, we have very few chances," the expert said..

He voiced two ways to counter Russian aggression: inflicting maximum damage to Russian troops and building a powerful territorial defense system. According to him, pro-Russian militants should understand that in Ukraine "a base of guerrilla warfare was created, that every step on the Ukrainian soil will turn out to be a lot of blood for Russians".

Tymchuk noted that now it is impossible to calculate the threshold of unacceptable military losses for Russia. He cited the example of the war in Vietnam, when the US had enough resources to continue military operations, but because of the tension in society they turned off the operation.

"What is this threshold for Putin - it is absolutely impossible to understand. Will it be 50 thousand soldiers or 150 thousand - you can not say, "- says the People's Deputy.

He believes that in Ukraine it is necessary to use the so-called Swiss model - with the storage of the home of small arms and the creation of a base for partisan warfare.
