Representatives of the Ukrainian company are ready to meet with representatives of Gazprom in any city of the European Union, but Moscow is not such a country. This position has been consistently adhered to by the department since 2014.

This is stated in the statement of the NJSC "Naftogaz of Ukraine", published on Thursday, June 8 on the page of the agency in Facebook.

At the same time, Naftogaz said that he regards Gazprom's proposal to meet to discuss the transit issue after 2019 in Moscow as the lack of plans for the Russian monopoly to hold such negotiations.

It should be reminded that Deputy Chairman of the Board of Gazprom Alexander Medvedev recently suggested that Naftogaz hold talks in Moscow to discuss the issue of gas transit to Europe via Ukraine after 2019.

As reported URA-Inform, the Stockholm arbitration court on Wednesday, May 31, fully satisfied the requirements of the National Joint Stock Company Naftogaz Ukraine on the principle of "take or pay" in a dispute with the Russian "Gazprom".
