The polling stations will open all over the country at nine o'clock in the morning by Kiev time. The sites will be closed at midnight.

At the same time, the main contenders for 650 seats in the lower house of parliament are representatives of conservatives, Labor, Liberal Democrats, the Independence Party of the United Kingdom and the Independence Party of Scotland. However, the main struggle may unfold between the ruling Conservative Party of Prime Minister Teresa May and the opposition Labor Party.

At the same time, as the British mass media write, conservatives will most likely not be able to obtain an absolute majority of seats in parliament and form a one-party government.

To form it, they will need to recruit 326 seats, while the poll results show that the Conservative Party can count only 304 seats.

Recall that Parliament in the UK is the highest legislative body. The House of Commons is the lower house of parliament, it is formed as a result of general elections based on the majority system of the relative majority.

As reported URA-Inform, at the end of April to conduct early parliamentary elections announced British Prime Minister Teresa May.
