Zarya's general director Sergei Rafailov told why the Lugansk club refrained from voting in favor of Desna or Veres at the meeting of the ULL clubs.

According to Rafailov, Zarya initially wanted to vote in favor of the Desna, but later abstained from voting.

"Without information before the meeting that was held in Kiev, of course, I was inclined to the Premier League, according to the sporting principle, joined the Desna," said Rafailov.

"After the same as I heard with the representatives of other Premier League clubs, the arguments of the Appeal Committee of the Football Federation of Ukraine, I understood and made my own conclusions that, in fact," the horse radish is not sweeter ". That one, that the other team, according to the principles of certification, should not have received a certificate for participation in the Premier League. But the team from Rovno just brought more papers with promises that after a while, a year, two or three, Veres will correspond to the level of the Premier League teams: budget, infrastructure and other criteria that the FFU nominates for teams claiming for Participation in the Premier League.

Desna did not manage to do this either. We heard that there was no work to prepare documentation there. There were only promises through the press that "we will and we will do". But in fact it was not so.

Accordingly, a vote was taken and the clubs supported Veres by a majority vote, taking into account, among other things, the decisions of the FFU appeal committee. Against the fact that to include in the membership of the Premier League Veres was only Dynamo.

The representatives of the Federation and the Premier League were asked why not to move down the standings to consider clubs below Veresa if they have the finances, the desire and infrastructure to participate in the Premier League. But representatives of the FFU said that it is very difficult to procedurally cancel the decision of the Appeal Committee on Veres. And there was very little time, as before June 1 it was necessary to decide on the composition of the Premier League before the higher football authorities.

The opinion of our president and mine is this: I would like the Premier League to be formed solely on a sporting basis, so we abstained in the voting. But what happened, it happened, "- explained Rafailov.
